Amplifier Service & Repair

Jimmy partners with RD Electronics for all his amplifier service needs. Russ is an incredibly talented technician and one of the coolest guys around to work with!

I think the thing I love most about Russ is that you know he'll do an exceptional job. But you also now that he gets it from a musicians standpoint and that he wants to help you make music as quickly as possible. Many other repair places are simply about the turn time. Russ is my guy If there's anyone I'll trust a $100,000 amp repair to, it's Russ DuFresne. Hes my guy and I have complete confidence in him to do the right thing for his clients. Love you man, So glad we get to experience this journey together.

Guitarist Friends

One of the things that Jimmy believes in is celebrating other musicians. Even i f that means  that those musicians get more work than he does. Guitar playing is an art form and there are many different ways to show up as a professional. Jimmy is asked frequently to pick up job across the United States and locally in Minneapolis, but due to previous commitments, he is unable to accept the work. Jimmy's personally believes that there is plenty of work to go around for the right players, and he keeps in touch with guitar players around town that he admires.  If you offer Jimmy a job and he can't do it, Jimmy is always purposeful in helping you find a replacement, This is one of the reasons that music directors across the United States prefer to work with him. Jimmy is about solutions, not issues. Here are some of th guitar players that Jimmy recommends for sub work.
